What is honed concrete?
Honed concrete is ground with diamond tooling to a smooth, even surface but stops short of a high polish, giving a matte, natural finish.
How much stone shows depends on the grind depth and on the original slab. Honed concrete is usually sealed afterwards; the sealer chosen affects appearance, stain resistance and slip resistance.
